In February last year it was my daughters birthday and i did the usual. Made the birthday cake and lots of other goodies for all the kids and i decided to get some piping bags and make some cupcakes and decorate them. They turned out great and i got so many people comment on them. So then i was hooked. A few days later i made some Lemon Meringue cupcakes and posted pictures on my facebook page and to my surprise i had people telling me i could easily sell them. Then i made some mini coffee cupcakes and carrot and walnut and then before i new it i started having people ask to by my little creations.
I Couldn't ask for a better job. I get to be at home with my kids and work at the same time. I'm very blessed. I had been making cakes since i was about 7 years old and always loved it. Baking is what relaxes me.It is so great to now have my daughters in the kitchen learning from me.
I still kick myself when i look back on the last 8 months since starting Plush n Lush. Still cant believe how far it has come. I started off thinking i might sell a dozen here or there and now i cant seem to keep up some weeks.
So as for this blog. I will be featuring a couple of my cupcakes a week, giving out some helpful advice, keeping everyone updated on whats going on in the Plush n Lush kitchen and generally just having fun as usual :)
